The partnership between MODULAX and Andean Pacific Iron has caught the attention of the Colombian press.
The project that initially envisaged the construction of a blast furnace with a capacity to produce up to 120,000 tons annually, received investment between 10 and 12 million dollars, and objective today besides the construction of the steel plant, the acquisition of other neighboring plants today inactive causing the output to reach the mark of one million tonnes.
The “dream team” responsible for the project has big names, among them Luis Guillermo Parra Dussán, president of the steel industry Paz del Río, Michael Davis, former vice president of Clorox Canada, Peter Volk, director of PRE and its subsidiaries; Miguel de la Campa, founder of PRE, and Luis Fernando Jaramillo, a former chairman of Odinsa.
